Layering a summer table without overthinking it

Three tones, two textures and one thing from the garden. That's the whole formula.

Start with a neutral base — linen or a plain cloth — then build with tone rather than pattern. Reactive-glaze stoneware does most of the work for you.

Mix one glossy surface with one matte, then add a single natural element: herbs in a tumbler, a bowl of lemons, cut stems from the garden.

Keep serving pieces low so conversation carries across the table.
