Outdoor cooking kit: what you actually need

From pizza ovens to tongs, the short list that covers a whole summer of cooking outside.

Heat source first: charcoal for flavour, gas for control, a pizza oven for speed and theatre.

Then two long-handled tools, a heavy board and a probe thermometer. That is genuinely it.
